Tutors ISP is currently looking for tutors who would be interested in working with Looked After Children on a sessional basis. The work would involve supporting our young people who live in Bedfordshire, Northants, Hertfordshire or North London. The young people would be taught at a range of venues; which may include one of our centres or the young person’s school. The role would neither be permanent or long-term but will often bridge the gap between coming into care and beginning school. Independent Social Workers
ISP is an independent childcare organisation providing a comprehensive range of services to young people looked after by local authorities.
We have a number of Centres and are currently developing our services in South London. We are looking for qualified, suitably experienced Independent Social Workers of all ethnicities, however, we have a particular need for Black African, African Caribbean, Asian or Dual Heritage Social Workers to undertake Form F assessments for prospective Black African, African Caribbean, Asian or Dual Heritage carers within London.
Section 5(2) (d) of the Race Relations Act 1976 applies.

We are looking for an experienced social worker to join our fostering team. Experience of working with foster carers as professional colleagues and working in a multi-disciplinary arena are essential.
This is a demanding position which includes both a quality assurance role to maintain high standards and a training role to prospective and current carers. You will be an excellent report writer and able to work to strict deadlines.

Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist
(Band 8a or Band 7 considered with appropriate experience)
to work at our Centres in Sittingbourne and Whitstable, Kent
Providing a minimum of 4 sessions per week, possibly 6

We are looking for someone who has experience of working with Looked after Children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will be able to work independently; assessing, making recommendations and providing ongoing psychotherapy or support for carers. You will work as part of the professional network around each young person to ensure good communication and joined up care. There may be an opportunity to contribute to other aspects of the organisation, e.g. training, support groups, consultation to other professionals, attending team and clinical meetings.
You will become part of the Therapy Team, headed by a Group Analyst who is also the Managing Director, consisting of Child Psychotherapists, Trainees, Art Therapists, Family Therapists, Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists.
